These center consoles are are really well designed. The Cruiser console fits perfectly between the the front seats and over the gear shifter (manual or automatic). Same quality as the original Hump Hugger plus added features like coin tray, felt-lined holder for eyeglasses or cell phone and two large size cup holders. I like the height in which the rear pad (lid) sits as it makes for a comfortable rest much like the 71 - 73 factory console. We also have original consoles and console parts listed in the interior section.
*NOTE* When used in the 1967 or 1968 Cougar equipped with the automatic transmission, the shifter bezel / indicator assembly will not fit well on this unit. For the best fit on a 1967 or 1968, convert to using the XR7-G console bezel.
