    Excellent high quality reproduction of the automatic transmission shifter bezel / indicator assembly for the 1967 and 1968 Mustang without console and 1968 Mercury Cougar XR7-G with XR7-G console.

    While not technically correct, this bezel can also be used on non-console Cougars (1967-1968) without modification.

    Ford part # C7ZZ-7D443-C.

    My 68 originally had a center console in it. I wanted to install a modern radio with screen so I opted to swap out the shifter bucket and use this in place of the console. You will need a different shifter all together, which I found out the hard way. The new light needed the clip on portion on the shifter. But, this piece is nice. Looks nice and seems to be good quality. Would purchase again if I needed to.

    Aloha, I recently purchased this item in hopes of getting rid of my busted old console. I got the new shifter bucket, I did not get the adapter, which I'm ordering. What I need to know is, what lamp holder do I need and bulb assembly for the light etc. ?? I have a 68, will the 69 clamp on lamp holder work? Help!!
