Preproduction wiring harness, connects the convertible top switch to the pump on both the xr7 and standard model Cougars and Mustang 1969 - 1973 convertibles.

This harness connects the convertible top motor to the under dash convertible top harness under the dash. Fits 1969-70 Mercury Cougar and 1969-70 Ford Mustang. This wire rests in the trough under the passenger side sill plate and goes behind the back seat where the convertible top pump is located.Ford part number C9ZB-15A668-B.

This black wire attaches to the fusible link. The Fusible link connects to the starter solenoid with an eyelet connector, then connects to this wire with a billet connector. This wire then passes through the firewall to mate with the power top switch wiring under the dash. This black wire attaches to the Circuit Breaker coming off the starter solenoid on one end then passes through the firewall to mate with the top switch wiring harness at the other end. We believe that some 1969 harnesses may have used a fusible link wiring harness in place of this one. This harness and the circuit breaker can be used on those applications.Ford part number C9ZB-15A669-B or C9ZZ-15A669-B.

C5ZZ-7610962-A Ford description of this plate is "Plate - Front floor lower cross member". All 1967-73 Cougar convertibles and all 1965-73 Ford Mustang convertibles use this plate. Bolts into place with 6 hex bolts 3/8-16 x 1-1/8" with washers. These were painted satin black from the factory. As you look at our picture below you will see the repro is about half the thickness. The repro is different in every detail but will work. We also have used plates with minor damage at a reduced cost.

New to the Market! Correct convertible side tension cables for the 71 through 73 Cougar and Mustang.  Replaces Ford Part #: D1ZZ-652806-A.  

This pair of reproduction convertible top hooks are beautifully chrome plated and features correct thread size. Looks close to original. These hooks are actually for 71 - 73 Cougars and Mustangs, but will work just fine on the 69 - 70.

C9ZB-7653139-A is the part number for the drivers side, C9ZB-7653138-A for the passenger side. These will often break when one hydraulic lift cylinder malfunctions and the other is still working. This scenario will put the top frame in a bind causing one of these cast parts to break. We carefully inspect these before shipment for cracks, worn areas or corrosion.

100% complete top frame as removed from a 69 - 70 Cougar. These tops are identical to Mustang with the exception of the rear bow being slightly higher on a Cougar. We carefully break this down by removing the header and crossbows and placing the original bolts back in the holes. Once you get this from UPS it will be very evident how it goes back together.

This original part has been reinforced to brace the front frame rails / tie together lower control arm pivots in a superior way to the original design. This design will prevent any camber change in hard cornering. This is not needed for the average Cougar owner but if you are desiring to make your car a "Handling Machine" every bit counts and this is an inexpensive upgrade. This short section of wiring attaches to the terminal post on the starter solenoid that faces towards the firewall. The other end is a female plug that incorporates a fusible link. If your switch were to get stuck or the frame got in a bind with continued power being applied this is the portion that would blow saving you from a costly wiring "melt-down". This same part was used on both XR7 and standard Cougars with a power sunroof or convertible top.

Must have for 69-70 convertible owners or anyone else who wishes to tighten up the notoriously weak front inner structure of the 67-70 Cougar / Mustang. All three of these easy to install upgrades are outlined in the BOSS 302 Chassis Modification book that is NOT included in this package. These convertible black interior "A" pillar mouldings are sold as a pair only. The texture and contour look good when installed but when turned over you will see they are thicker than original and are made from a different material than original. These may require some grinding of high spots on the back side to make them fit flush against the windshield post. Replaces Ford part # C9ZZ-7603598-B and C9ZZ-7603599-B.
