These Spark Plug Wire Separators are made of high-quality ABS plastic. Constructed to hold both standard 7mm and 8mm high-performance spark plug wires. Fits directly on valve cover clip. Available in blue, red and OE black.

Used bolt and washer for attaching the crankshaft balancer or damper to the crank shaft. 15/16 inch hex head with 5/8-18 threads and 1.75 inches long. Basically fits all Mercury Cougar engines except the 1971 429 Cobra Jets engines. Used on inner and outer rear seat belt bolts, four per car in 1970 -1971 and used only on the inner rears in 72 - 73 due to the addition of rear retractors. Used in conjunction with two red washer / spacers, marked with three known font styles of the letter "A". 1-5/16 inches long, Torx 50 is the tool for installing and removing.

These original clips hold better than the reproductions we offer. If you look closely you will see the angle bend is more acute on the originals. For you 71-73 owners with warped panels you will want to use these original clips (at least along the bottom edge) for a tighter hold.
