Factory transmission support bracket for use on all 1967 - 1970 Cougars with 390-2V, 390-4V, 427-4V, 428 Cobra Jet engines and C6 automatic transmissions. Ford part number C7ZZ-6A023-B. This part weighs 3.5 pounds and when set on a level surface the height of the mounting hole on the driver side measures 2 3/4" on center and the passenger side is 3 1/2" on center. These "sometimes" will be stamped 390 on the inside.
*NOTE* The key identifier on this C-6 unit that separates it from the confusingly similar, much more common 71-73 FMX / SB C-6 unit is the uninterrupted channel steel construction on the back side. Look closely at our pictures of the 71 - 73 unit before you lay out the big money for a "supposed" big block C-6 crossmember.
