Vacuum tested working hot water valve for any 1969-73 Mercury Cougars or Ford Mustang equipped with factory A/C. This valve stops the flow of warm coolant in the heater hose, when the A/C is on. Has the original cast brass valve and vacuum pod. Used but functional, the reproduction version is very good, but has a black plastic valve, like the service replacement valves from Ford.Replaces Ford part number C9AA-18495-D.

These are used hose clamps that have a tab and fold over on them selves. These were dipped in a rubber like substance to prevent chaffing. The ones that we have available do have some cracking or damage to this coating. It should be easy to 'dip' them again with the product that is available in most hardware stores. We normally see 2 of these clamps, or straps bundling the hoses on most cars. These clamps should fit a variety of different Ford and Mercury products, not just Mustang and Cougar....

This clips affixes the plastic speedometer gear to the cable. Some have found that this OEM original clip fits a little better than the reproduction we offer. *Trivia* Did you know the first Cougar cast for production in 1968 was this "Custom Cougar"? This fine example was offered up on ebay summer 2008 for a mere $6500.

The only Cougar that we know came factory equipped with this part is the Cobra Jet. This is a good used speedometer cable from a 1969 - 1970 Mercury Cougar with a FMX transmission. The cable housing has no burns and the fragile plastic squeeze clip that fastens it to the back of the speedometer is not broken. Keep in mind that some 1970 models use a two part cable. This cable will work in place of the two part cable seen on some 1970 cars. This cable measures 58 1/2" at its very most outer ends.

First generation Cougars 1967 and 1968, used a single bracket for C4 automatics and both 3 speed and 4 speed manual transmissions. This bracket also carried over to 1969 and 1970 with 351 or Boss 302 engines and either 3 or 4 speed manual transmissions. Ford part number C7ZZ-6A023-D. NOS power steering ram cylinder dated 6H25 or August 25, 1966. This one is date coded for a very early built 1967 Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang, including Shelby GT350 and GT500. Bendix manufactured, shows a paint marking and gold cadmium? nut and band. Still has the plastic plugs and cardboard protection on the threaded shaft and drag link stud. Seals presumed to be good, but no guarantees.

Our grade "B" rods are just as straight as our grade "A" used rods but the will show pock marks from rust after you clean them. One can fill and sand but it will take time. These are still a better value than the Chinese rods we sell.*Note - 1970-73 strut rods work equally well.

Used Two Spoke Steering Wheel Pad for the 1969 Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang.
