This is the correct control valve end hoses that comes from the power steering pump on all big blocks and the 1969 and 70 small blocks. This hose has industrial high pressure fittings that are much higher quality than those available by most Mustang / Cougar Parts Dealers. Includes both Pressure and Return hose that connect to the control valve.
* 1967 - 1968 289 and 302:
This big block routing is far superior to the original routing as the original routing was susceptible to rubbing against the exhaust manifold. This hose has industrial high pressure fittings that are much higher quality than those available by most Mustang / Cougar Parts Dealers. Includes both Pressure and Return hose that connect to the control valve.
Please Note: You can not use these hose with original hoses for the 1967 or 1968 small block, as they were routed differently than the setup this hose works with. You will need to purchase both of the big block routed pressure hoses, both of the big block routed return hoses, and a big block power steering bracket to make this work. If you have a 1967 with a 1/4" fitting on the pressure hose at the control valve, you will need to upgrade to the 1968 control valve with the 5/16" pressure hose fitting.
