This is actually not correct for a 1968 but it is all that is available in reproduction. The 1968 front is actually the same 4 1/4" length as the rear. Many people prefer the longer version as it makes it easier to roll up. We do have good used 1968 front cranks for those who prefer to stay with original. The High tone is indicated in raised letters located on the perimeter of the horn. The 1971-73 almost uses the same horn and bracket as the 1967-68, but was mounted at a different angle, so if you have a 1971-73 you will need to loosen the screw that holds the horn to the bracket and rotate the horn to the correct position. This plate attaches the 3/8" steel fuel line under the driver's side rear torque box, as it makes its way from the rear frame rail out to the rocker area. It acts both as a mount and as a protector from road debris. These were used on late 1967 to 1968 Cougars and Mustang with the 3/8" fuel line. Good original passenger side door latch rod set. Includes rod for inside lock, outside key lock, and outside door release actuating rod. These are good used parts and are a better quality and value compared to the reproductions. Only fits passenger side doors of 1968 Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustang. 1968 door latches are unique, they have a longer tab for the inside door lock knob typically.

Fine scratches but great for the guy who wants original. The Reproduction does not have the II-DMI-6 lettering at the bottom like this original.
