C8AB-7630323-A Usually these will not have knobs. Plan on purchasing new knobs. Ask about our B grade knobs that will have some pitting or lusting issues. This is the correct "shorty" crank for a 1968 Cougar front window crank. It is the same length as the rear 1968 - 1970 but uses a center screw instead of a side Allen set screw. This is a good used original rear window crank with no obvious scratches or pitting. May or may not come with random colored knob. It most likely will be missing the decal but will have the original set screw. Ford part number is C8ZZ-6530322-A, casting number shown on back is C8ZB-6530323-A. Black knobs are the most commonly ones requested, plan on buying new knobs if you need black.

Best quality of the three version made and the only one that comes with the decal installed. This is actually not correct for a 1968 but it is all that is available in reproduction. The 1968 front is actually the same 4 1/4" length as the rear. Many people prefer the longer version as it makes it easier to roll up. We do have good used 1968 front cranks for those who prefer to stay with original. The High tone is indicated in raised letters located on the perimeter of the horn. Hot idle compensator valve assembly for many Ford engines with PCV, starting in 1964 through early 1968. Typically found on 1964-66 Ford 260-2V, and 289-2 engines with air conditioning. 1967-68 289-2V, 302-2V and some 390 engines all with air conditioning and PCV or closed emissions. The Ford assembly manual indicates that the Hot Idle Compensator Valve 'T' Assembly, was installed by removing 3/4 inches of the PCV hose, 2-1/4 inches (on center of the PCV valve). This plate attaches the 3/8" steel fuel line under the driver's side rear torque box, as it makes its way from the rear frame rail out to the rocker area. It acts both as a mount and as a protector from road debris. These were used on late 1967 to 1968 Cougars and Mustang with the 3/8" fuel line. Early 1967 cars had smaller 5/16" fuel line, and different routing (through the transmission tunnel), and did not use this part. Mounting bolts included.

Most times you do not need new hinges but rather new bushings and pins. If your hinges are such that the holes are "hogged out" and no longer seat the bushing firmly then you will need to buy one of our good used hinges that come with new bushings and pin.
