    Description

    Please Note:

Many used items in our picture(s) have been cleaned and/or bead blasted prior to being photographed to show condition and detail. The item you receive, in most circumstances, will be pulled from the donor car and shipped to you without being cleaned. We do not retake pictures each time a used item sells. Pictures are a good indicator of what you will receive, but not all used parts age the same. On high dollar parts, email us and we can send a few pictures of the actual part available.

"Core" Items: If we use the word "Core" in the title of the product, the item has been deemed rebuildable, but has not been rebuilt.  The item you receive, in most circumstances, will be pulled from the donor car and shipped to you without being cleaned.

This is the correct ring for all years 1967 - 1973 high beam or low beam. No dings, gouges or broken spot welds. It is held in place by a spring and two screws. Four rings required per car, sold individually. Made from stainless steel, these clean up nicely with fine steel wool.

    Ford part number C7AZ-13015-B.

Below is a comparison of the Repro and Used/NOS Headlight rings:

The above picture shows the Used (top left), NOS (center), and Repro (bottom right) Headlight rings side by side.

If you look close at the above picture you can see that the Repro leaning while the NOS and Used are level.

Above is the NOS arm that attaches the ring to the headlight bucket.

Below you can see that the repro is almost 3/8" shorter. This makes it so that the repro WILL REQUIRE longer screws to attach it to the headlight bucket.

Above is the NOS Spring Anchor Tab.  As you can see if you compare it to the picture of the repro below, it is much wider than the repro.  You will also notice that the repro is a single piece with no joints, where as the Used and NOS are tack welded to the spring anchor tab.

Another difference to note, is that the repros have a brushed finish, whereas the NOS and Used have much more of a shine to them when they are polished up.

What a difference between original Ford manufactured item vs. the repop junk! All it took was a little chrome polish and looked like it just rolled off the factory floor. The difference in the tack welds on this ring made it worth the price & shipping costs. Bought for My 1972 Mercury Montego GT...WCCC is my prime site for NOS or original pieces.

I bought my 69 Cougar in Jul of '09 as a retirement from the Army gift to myself. From day 1 it had intermittent heating problems that I tried to fix. I changed the radiator, thermostat, water pump, and added 2 12 in 1400 cfm electric cooling...
