    Stamped Steel Pointer Mounts to Timing Chain Cover. Black Zinc-Plated. Includes Mounting Screw. Correct for 289, 302 and 351W Mercury Cougar or Ford anything including Mustang. We know the other vendors claim this part to fit 1967-73, but it doesn't. Works with 1968-69 Ford timing covers and with 1968-69 Ford 3 bolt harmonic balancers. Starting in 1970, Ford V-8 engines for Mustang and Cougar had timing pointers installed on the passenger side of the engine, and used harmonic balancers with 4 bolts for attaching crank shaft pulleys.
