Exact Reproduction 289 Hi-Po Main Cap Set offered by Ford. They are cast and machined here in the USA from the original Ford blueprints. A set consists of caps numbered 1- 4 and requires the use of an original rear main cap to finish an engine. These caps are cast from the highest quality Nodular iron and machined for ease of fitting to any 289 block. The I.D. of the main bearing bore is .020 undersize and the side registers are .010 oversize on each side for proper adjustment before line boring and fitting to a block for the first time. They have the proper style number cast on them with the arrow facing forward just like the originals.
