Door Handles / Cranks / Pull Straps

Used end cap with the burl woodgrain for the deluxe door pull straps found in the Mercury Cougar XR7 or Ford Mustang. These units will show a degree of pitting, fine scratches and fading. Also, these door pull strap caps are unique to 1968 and they are not currently being reproduced. 1967 has no border and the woodgrain has a different color and look to it. Unlike the parts pictured, we only have pitted covers left. At present we have no grade "A" examples. C8MB-5422678-A. Brushed die-cast (with stainless steel look) cover for the chromed grab handle end part number C9MB-5422668-A. These are the smooth or plain ends, the Lincolns used a cover that had scrolling. Driver quality used left side or driver side folding door handle. This type of handle was used on the 1967 XR7 models and 1968 Cougars.
