    Description

Reproduction heater cable set for your beloved Cat or Pony. This set is an exact fit!

Replaces Ford part # C7ZZ-18518-A. *Customer Feedback*

"My first deal with Don was clear back in the 1980's and I have sent a few people his way and all came away happy. While at his shop on Monday I watched Lin crawl under a convertible, phone in one hand and a tape measure in the other and measure a cross member, or drive shaft or? All in the spirit of customer service. In my opinion you couldn't deal with two better examples of what our hobby is really all about, making friends." Mark (mercurycougar.net)

Install was easy the hard part was adjusting the cables. I got the cables adjusted correctly I think and the defrost lever isn't correct immediately going to have to spend more time with it. The other cables fit great little adjustments were needed.

    Pros:
    • great replacements
    • Good%20build%20quality
    Cons:
    • Hard%20to%20hook-up
    • No%20instructions/tips/tricks
The build quality is almost exactly what OEM is; however the bolts that go to the holdown harness were not the right size. Not a big deal IF you still have the originals, or if you can use a nut on the other end to fasten them down. Also, to get these dang things to hook up and stay on the switches is a feat of impossibility. The angle is so extreme going to the control boxes that the tension is too much where the lines connect to the switches, causing the cords to pop off the switch backings. I would advise to hook these up only if you have the entire dash pulled apart.

I bought my 69 Cougar in Jul of '09 as a retirement from the Army gift to myself. From day 1 it had intermittent heating problems that I tried to fix. I changed the radiator, thermostat, water pump, and added 2 12 in 1400 cfm electric cooling...
