The High tone is indicated in raised letters located on the perimeter of the horn. The 1971-73 almost uses the same horn and bracket as the 1967-68, but was mounted at a different angle, so if you have a 1971-73 you will need to loosen the screw that holds the horn to the bracket and rotate the horn to the correct position. We do offer the correct used Cougar horns.
Replaces Ford Part # C7ZZ-13832. These horns are close but not correct for a Cougar. 1967-68 Cougars used part number C7WF-13802-B Lo / C7WF-13801-B Hi and 1971-73 used D0DF-13802-A Lo / C8DF-13801-A Hi , the mounting brackets are indexed slightly differently, and the electrical connector is indexed differently too.
