These 1969 molded vinyl, single post head rests were never offered on a Cougar or Mustang to our knowledge but they make a great "go-around" for the very expensive 1968 dual post headrests. To use them on your 1968 Cougar you will first need a pair of 1969 bucket seats as they have the internal hardware to accept the post. 1968 was a weak design so the 1969 seat frame is a nice upgrade and of course will accept any of the 1968 foam and interior kits. These headrests when in the down position look very much like the 1968 units when left in the down position. These are most commonly found in early 1969 Montego / Fairlane / Torino models. Sold individually, two required per car, will also require the upper portions of a pair of 1969 bucket seats.
