Core stainless steel deck or trunk moulding / trim for 1969-70 Mercury Cougar, including convertible. This will also fit perfectly on your 1967-68 in place of the original aluminum trim and will look brighter and be less prone to damage. This 1/2" tall unique little screw was used on several different trim parts on the early Mercury Cougars. In 1967 - 1968 there were eight per wheel lip moulding, two per fender extension moulding, two per center grille moulding and five per hood lip moulding for a total of 50 screws. In 1969-1973 they were used on the wheel lips mouldings. The 1971 - 1973 hood lip mouldings used the same screw but it was 5/8" tall.
