This restored passenger side (right hand) drip rail moulding / trim for the Mercury Cougar equipped with a vinyl top has had all minor dings and scratches removed and then polished to a mirror like finish. These puppies have been restored far beyond the quality that your car came with from the factory. These are sold outright, as one side only, or as a pair. This is for the person that is striving for perfection with his show car. Most people are going to be satisfied with our grade "A" good used drip rail mouldings / trim. The vinyl top cars have a wider top edge but a narrow bottom edge, while the non vinyl cars have a narrow top edge with a wide bottom edge. However, both versions can use the same piece of moulding / trim.

    Ford part # C9WY-6551727-D.

*NOTE* This unit carries a $30 core charge. You can presend your cores or send them after. However, if you do not send your core back 30 after the purchase date, your core refund will be in store credit only. Please include a copy of your invoice when retuning your core. When sending us your core(s), we will need a copy of your invoice. Or at the very least, your invoice number which is located at the top left corner of your original invoice. We will also need the date of your purchase.

Once you have your trim cores packed, we suggest that you take them outside and throw them up into the air as high as you can. After your box lands, jump on it. If you do not think that it will survive, you have not packed it well enough. We have discovered that this type of abuse is typical with shipping. We are not responsible for any damages that may occur in shipping.

Do not send us pretzel shaped parts, parts you have attempted to fix yourself, or flattened out parts. We need trim parts showing only MINOR dents, dings, dullness, or scratches.

Keep in mind we buy most trim and mouldings found on a Cougar.

I received the right side exhaust manifold shortly after I ordered it. My 302 engine is coming along, so hopefully it may be ready to drop into my 1970 Maverick, which is very similar to my first 1970 Maverick that I had from 1970 to 1986, the...
