This battery cover is designed to be used with any maintenance free flat top battery **24/60 series with original terminal location for the Autolite battery covers.

Everything you need to hold the battery down on your 71 -73 Cougar or Mustang. Included in this kit are the two stainless steel J-bolts, the hold down bracket and the hold down clamp.

NOS service replacement battery tray, may not be exactly like the assembly line tray. Group 27 battery tray is typical for cars with air conditioning and higher amp alternators. Used cast iron choke stove from any 1970-73 351C-2V Ford engine. This is held on with 4 bolts, and to our knowledge no block off plate is reproduced. Casting number on the iron plate is D0AE-9A705-D, which is only for the plate. The plate and coiled tube assembly has a Ford part number of D0AZ-9C869-B. No hardware included.
