Sometimes I wonder where the problem is with these reproduction parts and if it is quality control or just that no one really care to make them the way they are supposed to and if they fit or not. They look like they will work fine in the pictures, but when you are going to install them they don't fit right. This hanger could very easily been made a lot better and much more correct by drilling the holes in correct place and putting the rivets in from the other side. Oh well, I drilled a new hole so I could get it on my car, the rest I can live with. It will do the job it was meant for with this minor modification to fit my 1970 XR7. It's is a cheap part so maybe this is all I get for that kind of money, but I would be happy to pay a dollar more to get it more correct.
