EXCEPT AS NOTED IN THE PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This direct replacement is the 2-1/4 inch H pipe only and is for any 1971-73 Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang with stock cast iron exhaust manifolds. These units are manufactured right here in the good old USA from 2-1/4 inch aluminized pipes and made from an original 1971 Cougar and Mustang with either the H, M, or Q code 351C engine. We also sell OEM style dual exhaust systems that include the H pipe, mufflers, and tail pipes.

*NOTE* Will not fit 351 Windsor, 1970 351 Cleveland engines. Please allow 2 - 3 weeks for delivery.

*TRIVIA* In 1971 Ford redesigned the 351C exhaust manifolds to accept the same "H" pipe, regardless of 2V or 4V exhaust manifolds.

After reviewing the pros and cons of H pipe and X pipe I decided on this H pipe, because of the fit, OEM style and the fact it makes my ride perform and sound correctly.
