    This handle is a good replacement for the window cranks found on the 1971 - 1972 Cougar both front and back. The originals were 4 1/4" total length and this replacement handle is 4 7/8" long. The important detail on these is the fact that the female portion that attaches to the splined window regulator protrudes from the back 5/16". If you are using our chrome backing plates on your 69 -70, then this is the crank you will need to provide the correct clearance.Used before 10/71, replaces Ford Part # C9UZ-8223342-A
