    Description

    Please Note:

Many used items in our picture(s) have been cleaned and/or bead blasted prior to being photographed to show condition and detail. The item you receive, in most circumstances, will be pulled from the donor car and shipped to you without being cleaned. We do not retake pictures each time a used item sells. Pictures are a good indicator of what you will receive, but not all used parts age the same. On high dollar parts, email us and we can send a few pictures of the actual part available.

"Core" Items: If we use the word "Core" in the title of the product, the item has been deemed rebuildable, but has not been rebuilt.  The item you receive, in most circumstances, will be pulled from the donor car and shipped to you without being cleaned.

This hard plastic black cover, or shield, attaches just below the radiator and protects the headlight vacuum hoses that attach to the left and right headlight door actuators. This used part will be free of cracks but will be warped. With patience and heat they can be successfully massaged back to their original form. Must have detail item for a nicely restored early Cougar. For use on non-AC cars only.
    Replaces Ford part number C7WB-14A088-A.

These things are a great original piece to get. Yes they look like the picture, but an easy fix with some tinfoil on your oven rack for a few minutes at 250deg or so. Pull it out carefully, and weight it down with some flat steel stock to hold it straight and flat until it cools, and wala, it stays. I shoved a piece of 1in flat on edge inside to hold the spacing and for more straightness. I managed to lock mine shut prior to the heating.

Why am I being warned about potential exposure to chemicals in motor vehicle parts?

    • Some chemicals in motor vehicle parts are on the Proposition 65 list because they can cause cancer and/or birth defects or other reproductive harm.
    • When purchasing USED or NOS items, we do not know if listed chemicals are present in these products.
    • This product is known to contain the following listed chemicals:
WCCC hooked me up with an original glove box cable and the correct screws WITH shoulders for my glove box. Their listing for these screws explains that the original screws have a shoulder for the cable and most people put in the wrong screws--which...

I have been a cougar owner for just shy of 30 years, I have been dealing with part problems for a very long time. The people at WCCC have always be honest, and overly helpfull. I now have a 1970 XR-7 mostly rebuilt, and my son has a 1968 base...
