These things are a great original piece to get. Yes they look like the picture, but an easy fix with some tinfoil on your oven rack for a few minutes at 250deg or so. Pull it out carefully, and weight it down with some flat steel stock to hold it straight and flat until it cools, and wala, it stays. I shoved a piece of 1in flat on edge inside to hold the spacing and for more straightness. I managed to lock mine shut prior to the heating.
