This product is an NOS Part.
NOS items are OEM parts from Ford that have been sitting on shelves or in warehouses for years. These are often great examples of the orignal parts, but they may have scratches or other shelf wear.
However be aware that some NOS parts are "service replacement" parts. "Service replacement" parts are not exact replacements of the parts that were installed at the factory, but are what Ford considered as "good enough" and were used at Ford dealerships after the original supply of parts was exhausted.

Nice unused Good Year space saver spare tire for a Ford. Vintage Good Year brand tire with size G78-14. BF Goodrich is another common brand of tire installed for use with unique storage location, hold down, and inflation bottle. This one does not appear to have been inflated or used on the road. Still has the nubs on the face of the tire as shown. This is technically wider than would have typically been factory installed in a Cougar or Mustang. F78-14 and Good Rich is the typical correct size for the 1968-70 Cars. A little bigger, but most people would not know the difference.
