ASC used Golde mechanical parts from Germany. Golde was a manufacturer of sliding canvas and metal roofs on 1950s-1960s BMWs, Porsche 356s and Volkswagen Type 1 (Beetle), Type 14 (Karmann Ghia).
We will seldom have an original wrench in stock. We have provided the dimensions of the "L" shaped wrench. The key information is that they use metric threads, which are 5mm-8. The rod is approximately 5/16 inches thick. The long short side is just over 1-11/16 inches (of which 5/16 inches is necked down and threaded), and th long side measures a bit more than 3-1/4 inches.
