    Chromed engine oil dipstick as found on many 1967-69 Ford with 390 engines (S Code), 427-4V (W Code), 428CJ (Q or R Code). Ford used several different suppliers and there are differences that show up in the finger handle as shown. Top of the shield to the dipstick end varys at either 19.25" and approximately 20.25" (full, add, and safe marks are the same). The handles were chromed originally.
