This rectangular trim part is located on the right side of the glove box on all 1967 - 1968 Mercury Cougars without factory installed AC. This could be referred to as a passenger side AC vent block off plate. Our used pieces taken from parts cars usually need to be painted but sometimes will pass as-is for a driver quality car. This restored trim piece mounts to the back of the vent frame of any 1967-68 Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang. Driver side only, made of galvanized steel. Sold individually, right is the same as left. Rare find but hard to justify the price in light of the quality and price of the reproductions we offer at a fraction of the price. Notice the difference in brightness of these two NOS, fresh out of the Ford wrapper mouldings. This is actually quite common, different batches got different treatment. When you send in your trim to us to be restored it will match as it will all be done in the same "batch".
