Incorrect chrome finish (supposed to be satin not chrome) Mustang part that requires modification to make the metal XR7 insert fit. This is the only new alternative to your broken bezel, we sometimes get in an original that just needs paint. This unit will also fit the Cyclone, Montego, and many other Mercurys and Fords. Reproduction aluminum shift indicator console overlay for the Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang. This rectangular trim part is located on the right side of the glove box on all 1967 - 1968 Mercury Cougars without factory installed AC. This could be referred to as a passenger side AC vent block off plate. Our used pieces taken from parts cars usually need to be painted but sometimes will pass as-is for a driver quality car. This restored trim piece mounts to the back of the vent frame of any 1967-68 Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang. Driver side only, made of galvanized steel. Full part name by Ford is: Retainer, vent window division bar glass run. The felt inserts will generally not be serviceable.
