This is a bare vacuum valve, that does not have the screwed on extension which make the unique part numbers from the Ford MPC. Tested and holds vacuum. These came in several different anodized colors, for 1967-68 the color was brown. This is the basic valve with a single vacuum port.

This 1967-68 Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustang shield, was installed at the factory to protect the heater motor from being damaged when the Big Block 390-427-428's were being dropped in. Concours correct white striped heater hose for 1967 and early (prior to 2/1/1968) 1968 Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustang. Durable white striping with no mention of "Autolite" - this particular hose did not come with that marking. Correct for all V-8 engines without air conditioning. For us with Cougars without factory AC. The originals were made of cardboard and are very prone to failure from moisture. These are made from virgin ABS black plastic and are excellent quality in every respect. Not often does a reproduction come along that blows away OEM, but this definitely is that part.
