Many of our customers have asked and requested how we clean and detail our parts. We use a combination of items, mostly fine steel wool and elbow grease. Cleans haze, crud, and years of oxidation and water spots from glass, aluminum, chrome, and rubber. 

Correct size and style white square plastic insert that clips onto front or rear license plate bracket on any 1967-73 Mercury Cougar. Each kit allows one license plate to be mounted. The actual screw has a large head which is made for license plates, but is not the factory Ford style of fastener for Concours judged cars. Fits any model that used the banded Midland-Ross booster. This Bakelite hub can be seen when you remove the dust boot. It is a very brittle fragile part that gets broken when you drop the booster, attempt to bleed the brakes with the engine running or install the wrong brake pedal.

This brake booster to master cylinder spacer was used on many Ford / Lincoln / Mercury products beginning in 1962. Many do not even realize a foam filter is supposed to be sandwiched between the plastic filter cover and die cast aluminum spacer as brake fluid saturates them and the delicate foam filter element deteriorates.
