This is a rare find... This used 4 piece bracket set was taken from a June 17th built 1968 390 X code Cougar with factory dual exhaust. These are much cleaner used parts than you will see in other regions as they have never been exposed to road salt. Factory original cast iron exhaust manifold for the passenger/right side and is probably a mid-year change for 1967. For both S & X code 390 engines and W code 427 GT-E engines up until 2/15/1968. Butterfly spacer not included. Ford part # C7OE-9430-C.

Factory cast iron exhaust manifold set, both a correct right C6OE-9428-A and left C7OE-9431-A side matching exhaust manifolds. With 1969 dates. *TRIVIA* 1969 390 S code Cougars were not technically the 390GT variety. An Autolite 4300 carburetor and a non-GT intake manifold changed the designation to 390IP for "Improved Performance."

C6OE-9428-A 390-4V factory original cast iron exhaust manifold for passenger side. Even though the photo shows a chamfer where an exhaust donut would go, the proper 1967 manifold would have been cast flush, and a butterfly spacer would have been used. The spacer had a flapper that partially blocked the pipe and allow heat to be dissipated upwards to the choke. Spacers not included. Factory used exhaust tip from a 1968 Mercury Cougar GT-E. Fairly good condition, has some scuffing on the lips of the tips and or scuffing on the bottom edge. Factory stamped C8WX-5C262-A. A 20% discount for purchasing a pair. 

1971 *351-4V after 4-12-1971. 1971 429 CJ. 1972 with "Sporty" dual exhaust. Engine designated as a 351-CJ on air cleaner lid. Holds the rear of the muffler to the underside body. Ford part number D1WY-5260-D. *Late production - after April 12, 1971.

This is the harder to find tail pipe hanger as it was only used on dual exhaust cars. Will have usable but cracked rubber. Mounts to the frame on the left side of the fuel tank. Supports and holds the rear of the tailpipe stationary. All 1968 - 1969 dual exhaust Cougars, all engines. Ford part number C8WY-5260-B.

D0OZ-9652-A Heat shield 'S' tube unique to 1970 351 Cleveland engines 2v or 4v. *Note - Must be used in conjunction with the heat shield part number D0OZ-9A603-F and air cleaner snorkel part number D0OZ-9A626-D.

Ford part number D2AZ-9A603-D (outer section) and D2AZ-9A603-B (inner section) make up this two piece metal shroud for all 1972 - 1973 H code 351-2V engines. The outer shield section is common to both 2V and 4V 1972 - 1973 351c engines but the inner is unique to the 2V.

D1AZ-9A603-A Metal shroud for all 1971 351 engines including H code 351-2V and M code 351-4V. One piece design uses a paper and aluminum tube to bridge to the air cleaner snorkel.

Ford part number D2AZ-9A603-D (outer section) and Ford part number D2AZ-9A603-C (inner section) make up this two piece shroud for the 1972 - 1973 Q code 351-4V engine. This inner shield conforms to the 351-4V cast iron exhaust manifold only and the outer portion fits both the 2V and 4V.

Grade A exhaust manifold heat shield for any 1970 Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang with 351C engine, 2V or 4V, it doesn't matter. Uses a separate, small diameter metal tube (part number D0OZ-9652-A) that attaches to the 1970 Cleveland air cleaner snorkel. Grade A used will only have minor pitting, it will have no holes or rough rusted edges. We also stock B grade versions for less than half the money.Replaces Ford part number D0OZ-9A603-F.

Used grade "A" heat shield for the Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang equipped with either the H code 2V or M code 4V 351 Windsor engine. This two piece heat shield has a very narrow application in that it is a one year only item and only for the 390 IP (Improved Performance). It does not mate to metal a "S" shaped heat riser tube but rather a flexible paper-foil tube that attaches to a reducer on the bottom side of the snorkel.
