    Description

    Please Note:

Many used items in our picture(s) have been cleaned and/or bead blasted prior to being photographed to show condition and detail. The item you receive, in most circumstances, will be pulled from the donor car and shipped to you without being cleaned. We do not retake pictures each time a used item sells. Pictures are a good indicator of what you will receive, but not all used parts age the same. On high dollar parts, email us and we can send a few pictures of the actual part available.

"Core" Items: If we use the word "Core" in the title of the product, the item has been deemed rebuildable, but has not been rebuilt.  The item you receive, in most circumstances, will be pulled from the donor car and shipped to you without being cleaned.

This single port version was used in the latter part of 1967 and all of 1968. Keep in mind we have units that are not as clean looking but still hold vacuum for about half the price.

True to their word these tanks are used but they still hold vacuum and with a little elbow grease and some good spray primer this tank will shine like a new dime. Mine works great.

    Question
    JimGeorge1 Asked:
Ref: item19313 - vacuum storage tank. I have rebuilt/replaced both headlight actuators which were leaking and checked the check valve to be sure that is not faulty. I still have a vacuum leak so think I'm down to either the storage tank or the vacuum lines themselves. The storage tank seems to logically be the next and easiest to check. Can I assume the best way or the easiest way to test for a tank leak would be to block off the nipple and dunk the tank under water?

Why am I being warned about potential exposure to chemicals in motor vehicle parts?

    • Some chemicals in motor vehicle parts are on the Proposition 65 list because they can cause cancer and/or birth defects or other reproductive harm.
    • When purchasing USED or NOS items, we do not know if listed chemicals are present in these products.
    • This product is known to contain the following listed chemicals:
