    Pair of cylinder heads from 1968 Mercury Cougar with 390-4V or 390GT engine with smog holes. Good used heads ready to bolt on and use. Typically this cylinder head has 2.02 and 1.55 inch valves, and the chambers measure out at 71-74cc's. With stock pistons, these heads will net an approximate compression ration of 10.5:1. Basic cylinder head number is 6090. These are the GT exhaust manifolds with 14 drilled and tapped exhaust bolt holes. A low cost alternative to these cylinder heads with drilled and tapped holes for thermactor smog are the 1969 cylinder heads without smog.
