Many of our customers have asked and requested how we clean and detail our parts. We use a combination of items, mostly fine steel wool and elbow grease. Cleans haze, crud, and years of oxidation and water spots from glass, aluminum, chrome, and rubber. 

This is a one year only, Cougar only part. I do not care what they told you down at the "Mustang Mega Barn", Cougar is different as it has mounting holes at the top and Mustang does not. The Mustang cover has no mounting holes at the top and resembles the 1970 cover. This may just be the most delicate part found on a 69 Cougar and is just behind good used interior sail panels in scarcity. This nice used original part will have no broken tabs as seen on our grade 'B' version. This grade 'A' part will include two metal clip-on spacers as shown. 1970 is the only year 69-73 that Mustang and Cougar column covers interchange. You will need to paint this part to match your interior.

This used original part will have a broken tab so you will have to use a over-sized washer or some other clever means of properly attaching it to the underside of your dash. This grade be part will not include the metal spacers seen on our grade 'A' part. Even with a broken tab this is a much better looking and fitting part than our economy reproduction. 1970 is the only year 69-73 that Mustang and Cougar column covers interchange. This listing is for a BLEMISHED center grille. These blems are for someone on a bit of a budget but still wants the quality of the reproduction. The only problem with these blems is that there will be dings/dents on either side of the emblem area and the paint will be chipped.
