Clean cores are required for this service, cores that are turned in for this service that are kinked, heavily pitted or mouldings with several holes drilled into them are not worth restoring. That being said, often all of the gravel pitting usually found at the front cannot completely be removed as it would result in a product that will be too thin.
Keep in mind that because these are restored mouldings, they will not have the black strips in place and will need to be painted on.
