The automatic seat back release option was added in early 1970 for Cougar and Mustang. The automatic seat back release would pull the release lever on both of the bucket seats. This only happens when the either the driver or passenger side door is opened. Kit comes with the 1970 specific wiring harnesses from the solenoid, includes 3 pin switch for the passenger pillar post, relay, solenoids, and cross over wiring. Since the reproduction is no longer available anywhere, we've taken a used plug and our electrical department has pieced it together to make a useable plug. The Eliminator uses the XR7 harness but not the XR7 rocker switches in the center of the dash. This bypass plug completes the circuit left open when no XR7 switches are plugged into the harness.

Set of 5 reproduction firewall inspection decals. During final inspection, these decals where placed in different locations on the firewall / cowl area and one P decal between the weatherstrip and dash pad inside the drivers door jam. This decal set has the assembly line inspectors names stamped on them. These decals would have been used on cars equipped with Boss 302 and BOSS 429 engines.

This passenger side (right hand) reproduction emergency / parking brake cable idler bracket mounts to the right front floor pan. The idler bracket is often discarded when the floor pan is removed for replacement. We also have good used units in stock for those that desire 100% correctness.

When we say the "vintage casting look", we mean with the proper groove and contours. Reproductions are fine, but do not retain the casting design of the original casting company. When looking for used brake drums, the rule of thumb is to find ones with a brake surface area of 1/4 inch more than the brake shoe width.

Used inner and outer passenger side (right hand) wheel house as cut from a parts car. This is a hard part for us to obtain as we have to sacrifice all surrounding parts to remove it in its entirety. The almost always will have a substantial amount of rust showing at the very tips of the outers where they end behind the wheel.
