    Description

Very correct, quality regulator that is much better than the imports we see that are made of a softer metal. Replaces Ford Part # C8ZZ-6523201.

*NOTE* The 1967 splined stud the window crank mounts to is taller on the 67 than the 68. They are not meant to interchange 67 to 68. If you install a 1967 regulator on your 1968 the window crank will not seat properly and will protrude from the door panel. If you try to install a 1968 regulator on a 1967 model the window crank will fit too tight to the door panel and ruin the door panel.

I was replacing my passenger regulator so I might as well replace this one too! Got these for a great price (better than anywhere else I've looked) and they went in without that much hassle whatsoever. Unlike the passenger one, which greased up the window goes up 3 times faster, this one takes some effort at the last bit to fully close (and I'm missing the cast rear stop so it should close more than needed). But it works better than before nontheless. I also stripped out the head of the screw in the old regulator and now that I have the new one I needn't worry about it :) Great buy the price!

I bought my 69 Cougar in Jul of '09 as a retirement from the Army gift to myself. From day 1 it had intermittent heating problems that I tried to fix. I changed the radiator, thermostat, water pump, and added 2 12 in 1400 cfm electric cooling...
