New bolt for installing the door glass window run on any 1969-70 Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang. This is the lower bolt that goes into the bottom of the door. 1/4-20 threads, hex head but a shallow hex head, Originally installed with a rubber seal, which is not included. 7/16" hex head, these had a Ford part number of 379513-S100. 2 needed per door, 4 per car, sold individually. Black silicone is a good substitute for the seal.

If you are converting your early 1970 Mercury Cougar or 1969 or early 1970 Cougar Coupe or Convertible from glue in glass to bolt in glass this is the hardware kit you will need. You can reuse your four C9ZB elevators that bolt to these brackets, the only difference between C9ZB and D0ZB is that the C9ZB is fastened by two bolts and the D0ZB has two studs and nuts. Most often these do not wear out but instead get lost. These plastic bushings keep the threaded studs from the window elevators from touching the glass as they pass through the holes in your 1970 bolt in door glass. Eight required per car. These clips are found on the power window swtiches of the 69 - 70 Cougar. Each power window switch has one of these clips and one of the J hook clips. 6 small clips required per master switch panel, one for each window switch and two per lock out switch. 

These same clips are also found on the four rocker switches located in the center of the 1969-1970 XR7 dash pad. Do not bend the "J" shaped tab any further than is necessary to release the plug from the back of the switch as these break easily. There are 16 of these used on a Cougar with power windows in 1969, add the 8 in the dash of the XR7 Cougars and some cars have a total of 24.Replaces Ford part number C9AZ-14530.
