A scratch obtained during shipping, an irregularity in the anodized plating process, a ding in a hard to reach spot that did not come out 100%, a slip on the buffer wheel or a pin hole created by over polishing are what you can expect on a blemished piece of trim. We try to carefully examine every trim part that comes back from our restorer for the smallest of imperfections. If we would not place them on our $40,000.00 Cougar we do not expect you to... From 10-15 feet away these will look good but upon closer inspection you will find irregularities. Keep in mind that when you click onto these images they are greatly magnified making the blems look worse than they are. These are great for that driver that is occasionally shown.
*NOTE* If you purchase this blem set and it does not meet your expectations you are welcome to exchange it towards our premium grade restored set, no questions asked!
When one of our trim parts has a more noticeable blemish on the top side we sell those to walk in customers or place them on the "as-is" table at a swap meet. If the blemish appears on the bottom side (as shown in the pictures here) we consider that and acceptable piece for a driver. If you purchase this blem set and it does not meet your expectations you are welcome to exchange it towards our premium grade restored set, no questions asked!
