Many used items in our pictures have been cleaned and/or bead blasted prior to being photographed to show condition and detail.

The item you receive, in most circumstances, will be pulled from the donor car and shipped to you without being cleaned.

We do not retake pictures each time a used item sells. Pictures are a good indicator of what you will receive, but not all used parts age the same. On high dollar parts, email us and we can send a few pictures of the actual part available.

    "Core" Items:
If we use the word "Core" in the title of the product, the item has been deemed rebuildable, but has not been rebuilt.  The item you receive, in most circumstances, will be pulled from the donor car and shipped to you without being cleaned.

WCCC is a buyer of used and NOS hard to find 67-73 Mercury Cougar parts. Usually we give an in store credit of 50% of our web price for parts delivered in hand or by carrier to our Brooks, Oregon location. If you're not interested in store credit, just shoot us an email and we will let you know if it's is something we can pay cash for. We do not send cash for parts in advance but we often can compensate you within hours of receiving the goods.

Sometimes a 50% wholesale bid will not be enough to entice you to sell. It never hurts to ask if we can up our bid! If it is an in demand item that we have requests for we often can pay more. Just email us if you have questions or want to share pictures.

This 1969-70 Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustang shield, was installed at the factory to protect the heater motor from being damaged when the Big Block 390 / 428CJ's were being dropped in. As noted in the factory assembly manuals we sell, they were supposed to be removed once the motor was in place. We have found that more often than not they were left in place as it was probably too time consuming to remove them. Technically they should not be in place on a concours car but practically speaking you would expect to see them in place. Check with www.cobrajet.org for more information. This is the long finger version, and could have been used on 428CJ with A/C or without A/C.

Replaces Ford part number C9ZA-19C842-A long finger.

Replaces Ford part number C9ZA-19C842-B short finger.
