Sold as a pair only, very limited supply. Driver side part number is C7WY-16304-B and passenger side part number is C7WY-16304-A. The casting number imprinted on the part is C7WB-17B957-B for the driver side and C7WB-17B951-B on the passenger side. The Mercury MPC refers to these as "anti squeak pads".

Also referred to as "Bumperettes", this kit was available as an over the counter option for your 1967 or 1968 Mercury Cougar. According to Kevin Marti's book, "Cougar By The Numbers" 15,018 Cougars received rear bumper guards from the factory in 1968, that data is not listed for 1967 but it is assumed that the numbers are about the same. These NOS sill plates always have some degree of shelf wear due to the many years they have been shuffled around. The biggest difference you will see with NOS vs. the two different levels of reproductions is the finish. The NOS parts are far less bright and less prone to showing hairline scratches. Original two piece assembly that bolts to the passenger side of your firewall on A/C equipped Cougar's. Comes as taken from parts car. That is because the aluminum is way more prone to corrosion when compared to the copper unit.
