Mercury Cougar shift handles never came covered in real leather from the factory but what a cool upgrade! We sell a lot of these and the feedback has been great. We also carry the original plastic covered (simulated leather) reproduction XR7 shift handles in several colors but this real leather handle comes in black only.

These are quality reproductions of the aluminum valve covers used on the XR7-G (except HERTZ models) or as an optional over the counter upgrade for any FE equipped big block Cougar. If you want to install factory shoulder belts on your 1967 Cougar or Mustang, you need to install these shoulder belt brackets. It's a threaded block inserted into the clip that holds it in place. 67 Cougars and Mustangs didn't come with shoulder belts, but the raised area where these brackets attach is still present. Good used axle vent nipple or tube. This vent tube screws into the top of the rear axle and is a breather / vent to equalize the pressure inside the axle tube. Fits both 8 inch and 9 inch rear axles. C3AZ-4730-B Rubber bumper that mounts to the metal axle snubber on Ford nine inch rear ends on 1967 - 1970 Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustangs. Good used part with solidly mounted metal threaded stud. New replacement J-nut or they are sometimes called U-nuts. These clip into those square holes in the fender aprons for fastening the fenders on 1967-70 Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustangs. These clips are 5/8 inches from the hole center to folded edge. We also see the same clips with 27/32 inch spacing for fender mounting. Numerous other uses, we find this clip on the hidden headlight buckets on 1967-68 Cougar and XR7's.

This 1/2" tall unique little screw was used on several different trim parts on the early Mercury Cougars. In 1967 - 1968 there were eight per wheel lip moulding, two per fender extension moulding, two per center grille moulding and five per hood lip moulding for a total of 50 screws. In 1969-1973 they were used on the wheel lips mouldings. The 1971 - 1973 hood lip mouldings used the same screw but it was 5/8" tall.

Famous 'Cal Custom' aluminum finned oil pan that was so popular throughout the 60's, 70's and 80's. It has not been available for years, but it is back again. Pan is made from all new pressure die cast tooling and then fully machined to offer a precise fit and leak free installation.
