    New high quality fiberglass hood for the 1967 - 1968 Mercury Cougar. Inspired by the XR7-G hood scoop, our supplier molded these hoods with this taller functional hood scoop already attached (keep in mind that the original XR7-G and GT-E hood scoops are non-functional). The "nostrils" of the scoop are cut out, and there is a large opening beneath the scoop to provide extra airflow to the engine. This version of the G-Force hood has a molded fiberglass under structure (as opposed to our other pricier hood which has the original steel under structure).
