This clips affixes the plastic speedometer gear to the cable. Some have found that this OEM original clip fits a little better than the reproduction we offer. *Trivia* Did you know the first Cougar cast for production in 1968 was this "Custom Cougar"? This fine example was offered up on ebay summer 2008 for a mere $6500.

The only Cougar that we know came factory equipped with this part is the Cobra Jet. According to the Master Parts Catalog (MPC), any Cougar with a 3.91 or 4.11 rear end and a C-6 would have been equipped with this reducer. This is a part that we will probably never have on hand, but would love to document. Used original pan removed from a Western parts car, 14 bolt holes. This pan is not available new. These will have some dents and or scrapes. These were not painted originally, may have light rust that will clean up. Consider them Grade B used.

Ford called this part a 'sleeve'. Attaches to the lower shifter arm with a hitch pin. Has nice bushing, with correct nut, washer, and pin. The 1967/68 and 1969/73 versions are identical. The C1AA-7353-C sleeve has fine threads, the C9OZ-7353-A has course threads. Fits all 1967-73 Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustang, and we suspect many other Ford vehicles beginning in 1961. Used on both 351 2V and 4V motors equipped with the C6 transmission. Approximately 26-1/2" with red color code. The comparison picture with two rods side by side are the 71 - 73 FMX and C6 rods. *NOTE* Many assume the C6 was only available with a 351 equipped with a 4V but in fact you could get a C6 with a 351 2V in 1971 - 1973.

This vacuum actuated door assembly was used on several performance motors without Ram Air. When extra air was needed under heavy acceleration the vacuum actuator opened the door on the side of the air cleaner base. The actuator on this unit needs to be rebuilt so this is considered a good core only.

Nice unused space saver spare tire for a Ford. Vintage Good Year brand tire with size F78-14. BF Goodrich is another common brand of tire installed for use with unique storage location, hold down, and inflation bottle. This one does not appear to have been inflated or used on the road. Still has the nubs on the face of the tire as shown.

Reproduction passenger side drum brake spindle. These are getting hard to find in used condition, considering the after market disc brake conversions that require the use of 1970 drum brake spindles. 1970 was a heavier design over 1968-69.  Fits 1970 - 1973 Mercury Cougar, Ford Mustang, and mid sized Ford's such as Torino, Ranchero, Cyclone, etc.

This is a the economy version of our lower control arm assembly, with a spot welded on reinforcing plate. We are sorry, but we just cannot recommend this part. The Scott Drake premium version of this lower control arm is superior and costs less.
