This used fuel / gas tank shows small dents on the underside but the top side is perfect and the inside has no corrosion. This tank would be good for "splitting" and combining this good used upper half with a reproduction lower half. Used Carter fuel pump lever. From Carter made fuel pump as installed on Ford 352, 390, 410, 427, 428CJ FE engines. Many of the Carter "X" fuel pumps with screw together rebuildable pumps often times have Ford small block levers. Housings are he same. Factory original Carter fuel pump that was taken from a low mile 427 GTE in 1997. The "X" pump was used only on the Boss 302, 427, 428 and 429 Cobra Jet, and Super Cobra Jet.

If you find that this tube has too small of fittings for your OEM 4150 / 4160 Holley carburetor than what has happened is that someone has replaced your transfer tube and fittings with one of the after-market kits available at speed shops. Since the reproduction is no longer available anywhere, we've taken a used plug and our electrical department has pieced it together to make a useable plug. The Eliminator uses the XR7 harness but not the XR7 rocker switches in the center of the dash. This bypass plug completes the circuit left open when no XR7 switches are plugged into the harness.

The automatic seat back release option was added in early 1970 for Cougar and Mustang. The automatic seat back release would pull the release lever on both of the bucket seats. This only happens when the either the driver or passenger side door is opened. Kit comes with the 1970 specific wiring harnesses from the solenoid, includes 3 pin switch for the passenger pillar post, relay, solenoids, and cross over wiring. Set of 5 reproduction firewall inspection decals. During final inspection, these decals where placed in different locations on the firewall / cowl area and one P decal between the weatherstrip and dash pad inside the drivers door jam. This decal set has the assembly line inspectors names stamped on them. These decals would have been used on cars equipped with Boss 302 and BOSS 429 engines.

This used emergency / parking brake cable connector is for the Mercury Cougar only. That is because it is longer than the Mustang version due to the Cougar's longer wheelbase. This connector connects the two ball ends of the long and short emergency brake cables. Ford part # C7WY-2A790-A.

This reproduction emergency / parking brake idler bracket welds to the under side of the floor on the driver side (left hand) of the vehicle and has the factory spec pin.

This passenger side (right hand) reproduction emergency / parking brake cable idler bracket mounts to the right front floor pan. The idler bracket is often discarded when the floor pan is removed for replacement. We also have good used units in stock for those that desire 100% correctness.
