New 13 Pound Generic Radiator Cap with Safety Release for the 1967 - 1973 Mercury Cougar / Ford Mustang

Found on standard cooling and non-air conditioned Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustang 1969 - 1970 all engines. One per car, one on the drivers side of the radiator. *Note - This is a shorter side shield than is found on the 1967 and 1968 Cougar.*Note - Block off plate not needed with the 24 inch radiators.

This is a good used power wire that passes through the firewall, travels along the passenger side engine compartment and mates the the rectangular power window relay. Fits 1969-70 Mercury Cougars with factory power windows. This is a Grade A harness that has been tested and inspected. This harness will look and function correctly. If your original is pitted or has come apart this will be a clean, crack free used replacement that will easily snap in place. We have a reproduction, but the finish is rougher, as shown in the comparison photo. There were originally two versions of this switch: the one shown with both round contact points in plastic, and another which had one in metal.

This used grade "A" bezel for the driver side master switch was used in the latter part of 1970 through the 1972 model year. These do not "pry" off rather they are removed by slipping a small screw driver between the bezel and door panel and depressing the clip tab so as to release it from the master switch housing. Good used driver side (left hand) brake spindle for the Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang equipped with front drum brakes. Our spindles shipped bare, without any hardware. We inspect every piece for spun bearings and any galling to the spindle shaft. These are getting hard to find because after market disc brake conversions require the use of 1970 drum brake spindles. 1970 was a heavier design over 1968-69. Ford part # D0OA-3108-F.

This is a decent reproduction of the radio bracket for the 69 or 70. Take a look at the smaller image to see them side by side. The repro is slightly taller and has extra holes in it so it fits other applications. We recommend sticking with good originals.  Why deviate from 100% correct if you don't need to.

We do not have any at this time . . . Very rare part in great condition. This was pulled from a very original 1970 H code XR7 with power windows, tilt column and AC. Technically not correct for 69 in that the shade of green would be darker in 1969. Why this car did not have the xr7 woodgrain delete plate we are unsure.
