This clip looks just like the larger quarter extension moulding / trim moulding clip, but is smaller (as our comparison picture shows). One clip per side is used to attach the tail end (smaller end) of the moulding / trim to the extension. This unit is also almost exactly the same as the rear deck / trunk lid moulding / trim clip, but this quarter extension clip has a slightly shorter stud. For all 1968 through 1970 R and Q code 428CJ and SCJ air cleaners. Snorkel has the opposite jog than 390GT snorkels. This one jogs towards the rear of the engine. Originally this snorkel should have had an ink stamp of C8OF-9A626-A or -B. Ford MPC number C8OZ-9A626-C.

Reproduction inner floor frame rail patch for the Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustang coupe and convertible. As this item is for a Mustang, you will find that you will have to modify it to work with your Cougar. This unit measures 28" long where the Cougar piece is 19". This unit is a 1/4" wider than the Cougar piece as well.

C5ZZ-7610962-A Ford description of this plate is "Plate - Front floor lower cross member". All 1967-73 Cougar convertibles and all 1965-73 Ford Mustang convertibles use this plate. Bolts into place with 6 hex bolts 3/8-16 x 1-1/8" with washers. These were painted satin black from the factory. As you look at our picture below you will see the repro is about half the thickness. The repro is different in every detail but will work. We also have used plates with minor damage at a reduced cost.

This is a 1968 only part that is correct for Cougars equipped with the 390 GT "S" code motor. Whether your Cougar has the GT package or not, as long as it has a 4V 390 motor, this is the correct snorkel for your Cougar. The internal dimensions of the opening at the air cleaner base end measure 4 1/8" X 2 3/16", the flange mounting holes measure 5 1/2" on center. The opening for the S tube is 2 3/4". This snorkel was found on the XR7-G model with a 390 or 428 engine with the tall pent roof finned aluminum valve covers. The HERTZ model with the 390 engine used a chrome "Powered By Ford" chrome valve cover and did not need the extra length in the extension. This is a refurbished snorkel made from original parts. Lightly used intake manifold cast aluminum 427-4V medium riser. Blue Thunder casting 427MR-4V. Has the oil fill tube in front, dual plane, and the road draft provision in the back. Very rare find...NOS Sheet-metal is getting very hard to come by these days. And even at these exorbitant prices we have a hard time keeping many NOS body panels in stock. The best place to find NOS Sheet-metal these days would be at major national swap meets like the All Ford swap meet held in Carlisle Pennsylvania each year in June.Ford part # C7WY-16612-A.

This reproduction is made from the original Ford tooling and is new to the market. Well worth the few extra dollars over the previous ones offered. Replaces Ford Part #: C6OZ-7513-A.

Sold individually, right is the same as left. Rare find but hard to justify the price in light of the quality and price of the reproductions we offer at a fraction of the price. Notice the difference in brightness of these two NOS, fresh out of the Ford wrapper mouldings. This is actually quite common, different batches got different treatment. When you send in your trim to us to be restored it will match as it will all be done in the same "batch".
