    Two of these little plastic protectors came on Mercury Cougars and Ford Mustangs equipped with Air Conditioning. They are affixed to the front cross member using the same bolts that holds your condenser in place. Their purpose was to protect the wiring harness from potential damage if the car were to get into a collision. These are very hard to find today as most were discarded the first time the condenser was replaced. Even your most experienced judges usually have never seen or heard of this part. Most of the folks that are inquiring about this rare part are in the concours Shelby crowd. If you are doing a correct Cougar or Mustang that is a cut above the rest, these little detail items matter and you will not find them ANYWHERE else but right here at WCCC!
