    The item you receive, in most circumstances, will be pulled from the donor car and shipped to you without being cleaned. 

    We do not retake pictures each time a used item sells. Pictures are a good indicator of what you will receive, but not all used parts age the same. On high dollar parts, email us and we can send a few pictures of the actual part available.

     If we use the word "Core" in the title of the product, the item has been deemed rebuildable, but has not been rebuilt.  The item you receive, in most circumstances, will be pulled from the donor car and shipped to you without being cleaned.

    C8AE-9425-B Cast iron intake manifold used on all 1968 C code 289-2V, and F code 302-2V engines in a Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang. Stock 2 barrel intake manifold. Take off manifold with correct casting number of C8AE-9425-B. Intake shipped bare, less carburetor studs, heater tube, vacuum fittings, and water neck where applicable. Ford master part number C4AZ-9424-J. Also used on 1969 Ford F code 302-2V engines.

    The 1966-67 289-2V intake is also a good alternate, see related items for that one.

    *Installation Tip - A 1 inch aluminum spacer plate with PCV provision is needed for proper air cleaner clearance.

    *Trivia - The F code 302-2V engine wasn't technically available in a 1968 Ford Mustang.
