This is a one year only, Cougar only part. I do not care what they told you down at the "Mustang Mega Barn", Cougar is different as it has mounting holes at the top and Mustang does not. The Mustang cover has no mounting holes at the top and resembles the 1970 cover. This may just be the most delicate part found on a 69 Cougar and is just behind good used interior sail panels in scarcity. This is a much better quality part then what you see offered elsewhere. 1970 is the only year 69-73 that Mustang and Cougar column covers interchange. You will need to paint this part to match your interior. Clips temporarily not available from supplier. No clips included at this time.

Good aluminum piece that has no corrosion, no dings and all six mounting studs will be firmly in place. This same bezel was used on all Standard, XR7 or Eliminator Cougars for 1969 and 1970. Obviously the clock hole was not utilized on the Standard Cougar.

Listing is very good quality wood grain insert only. Plastic will be broken. The difference between 71 and 72-3 is that 71 has no provision at the top for the seatbelt warning light.

New for December 2024! After a long wait these dash bezel kits are finally in production and hopefully will be in hand by Christmas (or shortly thereafter). As the seasoned Cougar owner will quickly point out, there are several differences between the 1967 and 1968 xr7 dash bezels. We have chosen to take the best elements of both years and combine them into one set as tooling to do both would be cost prohibitive. These little clips are what were used to fasten the dash face pad to the dash bezels on a 1968 standard or decor level Cougar. They are very difficult to come by and we have yet to find a suitable substitute. We suggest that if you need more than a few of these clips that you consider using strips of adhesive Velcro in lieu of these clips as Velcro holds the fragile aluminum trim more evenly against your bezels and is easier to install and remove for future maintenance. *NOTE* There are 13 of...

This rectangular trim part is located on the right side of the glove box on all 1967 - 1968 Mercury Cougars without factory installed AC. This could be referred to as a passenger side AC vent block off plate. Our used pieces taken from parts cars usually need to be painted but sometimes will pass as-is for a driver quality car. We cannot promise we will have your color in stock but we will try to accommodate your request of color.

Factory radio delete or block-off plate from a 1967-68 Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang.
